Mill Street Guild Auditions

Come out and audition for this high energy and exciting show! We are looking for performers who can both sing and dance to take part in our weekly concert series. Performances start Friday, June 17th and continue until August 12th.

Auditions will be held on March 19th and 20th (Saturday and Sunday), from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm both days. Please choose the day that works best for you.

The Audition will be composed of a vocal portion... and a dance portion.

Vocal

Prepare an upbeat song that is 1-1:30 minutes in length. Choose something that best displays your voice and gives us a good idea of your capabilities. Bring your own instrumental/karaoke track to sing along to. If you have trouble finding one please contact us and we will do what we can to help you. Also, please warm up vocally ahead of time.

Dance

You will be learning a short combination at auditions, approximately 4 8-counts. Wear movement clothes (no jeans). Do not dress to impress! We want to see you dance well more than we want to see you look snazzy. We will do a quick warm up before learning.

Additional Info

Lastly, please arrive with a knowledge of your summer schedule. We will be having you fill out a form with your potential conflicts. Any interferences with rehearsals and performances are important for us to know as soon as possible.
